AHhh… I keeping drawing a box!! did this drawing to loosen me up!!

The tide would change the elevation of the building throughout the day/ month/ year depending on tidal patterns, causing the arms to undulate in the water, having a more dramatic transition during new moon/ full moon periods, (spring tides).

Looking specifically at the transverse sections of the bulk carrier units of cargo ships, and how they could form the tidal arms that sit on the river liffey. These arms utilise the kinetic energy provided from the undulations of the tide. This small amount of energy would, over time, compress into double acting pistons slowly raising the containers of hydraulic accumulators, placed on the site, similar to what was used to raise London Tower Bridge. Again playing with the notion of time on the site. Overtime as these accumulators gradually rise, the gravitational weight, when dropped would cause a sudden force of energy. This energy could then be potentially used to power, for example, “a harvest” of the hydroponic plants.

Elegant scaffolding arrangmenet on Selfridges in London’s Oxford St. The erection by Benchmark Scaffolding enabled specialist contractor Stonewest to stabilise and repair the structural steel and stonework at high level.Taking ten weeks to erect, it cantilevers out from the building’s first floor window sills without touching the ground which meant customers could continue shopping without being aware of the presence of builders.

Conceptual 3D render_ showing structure doesn’t have to be confined to the existing structure on site, which is a design concern, but can bulge and break away from it. Another approach could potentially be a type of lean to structure that somehow interacts with the existing structure.
